Production Machine & Tool opened in Corinth as a local tooling service in 1979. The shop's work has expanded to include CNC machining, Wire EDM, grinding, fabrication, and repair.

THE BEGINNING
The opening announcement, October 5, 1979.
Travis G. Smith announced Production Machine & Tool as a local tooling service for the screw-machine industry. The letter offered tool layouts, circular form tools, cams, special reamers, tool holder bushings, and secondary machining operations.
Those tooling and repair roots remain part of the shop's work today, alongside CNC machining, Wire EDM, precision grinding, and fabrication.

Today, PMT handles custom tooling, CNC machining, replacement parts, workholding, prototypes, grinding, fabrication, and repair. The shop remains in Corinth, where the company got its start.
